**Wage/Salary – Student Worker, Level 1 remains at Arizona Minimum Wage.  Levels 3 through 11 increased by Governing Board approval 12/20/2016.
Levels 22 through 24 adjusted to reflect comparative salary (BA, MA) on Certified Salary Guide.

Pay increases granted only to employees who meet performance expectations on the previous year’s evaluation.

Substitutes will be paid at minimum wage on the salary guide level for that position unless otherwise approved by the Superintendent.

Regular employees of the District who are substituting in positions at the same salary guide level will be paid at their regular hourly rate.

A custodian with an assignment that has been board approved to work the night shift will be paid an additional .50 cents per hour.

Closer for Vail Inclusive Preschool will be paid $4 for the hour worked between 5-6 PM when children are present. A separate timeclock entry must be submitted for time worked as a closer.

Closer for Community Services Program will be paid $4 for the hour between 5-6 PM when children are present. A separate timeclock entry must be submitted for time worked as a closer.

Differential pay for Lead Certified Diesel Mechanic is $1.25 per hour – assignment must be board approved.

Differential pay for High School Lead Custodian is $1.50 per hour – assignment must be board approved.

School Bus Trainer will be paid an additional $1.25 per hour while performing training duties – assignment must be board approved.

Levels 21 – 24 are assigned to work schedules of 187 days or more. (187 DAYS identified by **)

Employees performing duties in a second position as a Substitute Facilities Usage Worker will be paid $10.00 per hour.
