Special Educator: Inclusion Specialist, Resource Teacher

  • Provides case management and works directly with students with a wide variety of disabilities.
  • Arizona Teaching Certificate with Special Education Endorsement.

Behavior Specialist

  • Provides individual case management and works directly with students with emotional disturbance, supports other students in special education with behavior goals as well as serves as resource to site staff for student behavioral issues.
  • Arizona Teaching Certificate with Special Education Endorsement or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

  • Assists OT to deliver school based OT services directly to students.
  • Arizona COTA License

Occupational Therapist

  • Provides school based therapy to increase functional independence with activities of daily living in order to promote access to academic learning.
  • National AOTA License and State OT Certification

Paraprofessional

  • Works under the direction of a certified special educator, the paraprofessional works directly with students both individually and in group settings to support academic and functional skill development.
  • High School Diploma

Physical Therapist

  • Provides school based therapy to increase functional independence with activities of daily living in order to promote access to academic learning.
  • National and State PT Certification

School Psychologist

  • Conducts routine evaluations and assessments for determining placement in special education and three year reviews.
  • Works closely with site staff to implement STEEP, district Response to Intervention initiative.
  • Arizona Certification and License

Speech/Language Therapist

  • Provides case management and works directly with students with speech/language delays and disabilities.
  • Arizona Dept. of Ed Certification and Dept. of Health License

Speech/Language Support Specialist

  • Supports speech pathologist in serving students with communication disorders.
