Any VEC applicants that needs placement testing can visit our Pima Placement Testing Information page to see the steps to complete their placement.
Placement testing is needed if an applicant:
Is a current junior (11th grade) and has an unweighted (simple) cumulative high school GPA below 3.25.
is a current sophomore (10th grade)
In order for your VEC application to be eligible for evaluation, you must have placement at Pima for the following courses:
MAT 151 / MAT 187
WRT 101 (please note, this is different from WRT 101S)
REA 112
