Tennasyn is a massive success story for the Vail Internship Program. She completed the program and graduated from Cienega in 2016. Tennasyn now works as a teacher for Esmond Station K-8, a VUSD school.

"I think that having the experience of working in this setting before really helped," says Tennasyn. "I work at the same place I Interned at, so already being familiar with the culture and mission statement of the school really helped."
She also completed the Early Childhood Education CTE Program during her time at Cienega, which is a 3-year program.
"This program helped prepare me for the future by giving me real world experiences that I would not have obtained through simply shadowing someone," Tennasyn says. "I spent a lot of time at my placement and was able to learn and work rather than watch someone work. This program solidified what I knew I wanted to do with my life."
