Congratulations to Amy De La O, Mica Mountain Culinary Teacher, for being selected as the 2025 ACTEAZ (Association for Career and Technical Education Arizona) CTE Teacher of the Year! ACTEAZ is the largest CTE professional group in Arizona.
Amy exemplifies all of the characteristics that we strive for in CTE ranging from quality instruction to work based learning to expanding student opportunities. She has developed one of the largest and most robust CTE programs in Southern Arizona.
This will also make Amy Arizona’s nominee for the Region V ACTE Teacher of the Year, which takes place in November. Congratulations, Mrs. De La O. Way to represent Vail!
