Kristina Laborin has been a teacher for more than 30 years and continues to inspire her students, her colleagues, and her community. She teaches English Language Arts, Social Studies, Gifted Education, Drama, and even an "espionage" elective when she gets the chance at Old Vail Middle School.
This past Saturday, several Vail staff members and even a few of her former students had the opportunity to attend the Arizona Educational Foundation Teacher of the Year Awards Ceremony where Mrs. Laborin was recognized and honored as an Arizona Top 10 Teacher of the Year.
