Please complete returning student online registration ASAP. You will use the PowerSchool Parent Portal to access the PowerSchool Registration. Per A.R.S 15-802 parents/guardians are required to reaffirm AZ residency during the annual student registration.
As you may be aware, VUSD has been updating its communication tools. This year the way we collect and store parent/guardian and emergency contact information has changed. It is imperative that you complete the returning student registration to ensure we have the ability to effectively communicate with you and can reach you in case of an emergency.
How do I get started?
Go to the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Once logged in to the Parent Portal:
- Select the student you wish to register along the top tabs. (Please fill out the form for each of your children. PowerSchool will give you the option to copy the information for each of your children once you have filled it out for your first child.)
- Select the Returning Annual Registration 22-23 icon on the left side for the current school year.
- Agree to the terms and conditions.
- Click Begin Forms.
- Please carefully ensure all information is accurate.
Also, when you are in the Parent Portal, please click on the SchoolCare icon on the left to update your child's health information.
If you are a new family to the district, you have already done this. If you are a returning family, it is IMPERATIVE you complete this task ASAP. Some of you have already done so... thank you. If you have not had the opportunity yet, please do so today!
