Homeschool Partnerships

Welcome to Vail School District’s ESA & Home School Opportunities

We are proud to partner with Homeschool families by providing opportunities for students to participate in select classes, clubs, athletics, and extracurricular programs across the Vail School District.

Because offerings and availability vary by school, families are responsible for contacting the selected school to discuss participation and complete the enrollment process.

How to Get Started:

  • Submit the Interest Form
Complete the Interest Form below and select the school and program(s) your student is interested in.

  • Contact the School
After submitting the form, the Homeschool Partnership Team will provide the family with the selected school's contact information.

The parent/guardian is responsible for contacting the school directly to discuss the program, ask questions, and determine availability.

  • Confirm Availability & Enrollment
The school will confirm space and any program-specific requirements. If space is available, the family will work directly with the school to complete the required enrollment and PowerSchool registration.

  • Fees & ESA Invoicing
Participation fees are approved by the Governing Board and apply to all students participating in district programs. Fees are not negotiable and cannot be reduced or waived. Once participation is confirmed, the district will prepare an itemized invoice for ESA submission. If you are a homeschool family not participating in an ESA, regular school-associated fees will apply. ESA participation will be verified.

  • Start Date
The student may begin once all required enrollment steps are complete and applicable payment has been confirmed. The school will communicate the student's start date.

Important

Submitting the Interest Form does not enroll your student or guarantee placement. Families are responsible for following up with the selected school to confirm availability and placement

We are grateful for the opportunity to support ESA and home school families and look forward to helping your child connect, learn, and thrive through Vail School District programs.

Homeschool/ESA Options

Participation fees are set and cannot be adjusted or waived. These fees have been approved by the Vail Governing Board. We strive to ensure our practices remain fair and consistent for all participants.

Please note: Groups who rent VUSD facilities (Vail Soccer Club, Color Me Mine, etc.) do NOT fall under the ESA fees. If you are paying fees directly to a third party, that group is leasing VUSD space and ALL families pay the same fee.
